The Birth of Workplace Healing Crystals: An Interview with SoulGlimmer’s Designer

Reporter: In the fast-paced workplace, crystal bracelets have become a “energy amulet” for many. Today, we invite Lila, the designer of SoulGlimmer Crystal, to share the stories behind these healing accessories.

Lila: Hello! Actually, our team interacts with “workplace anxiety” every day—not that we’re anxious ourselves (laughs), but through customer feedback, we genuinely feel everyone’s longing for “gentle healing power.” For example, a customer mentioned last month that she wore our bracelet to negotiate a partnership that had failed three times, and she finally succeeded. This feeling of being “needed” is particularly touching.

1. “Resplendent Red Rose Bracelet": Courage Can Be “Worn"

Reporter: The design inspiration for this bracelet is unique. Why did you choose to pair rhodochrosite with strawberry quartz?

Lila: It stems from the story of a “socially anxious” customer. She was a new salesperson who would lose sleep from nervousness before meeting clients. One day, while polishing rhodochrosite in the studio, the sunlight shone through, and the stone’s veins looked like dancing flames. I suddenly wondered: What if we could wear this “vitality” on our wrists?

  • Rhodochrosite carries a “gentle and firm” energy, like an “inner strength” in the workplace; strawberry quartz is more vibrant, making people look energetic.
  • We also specially engraved a tiny “Brave” on the clasp. When worn, it rests against the wrist like a secret encouragement. Later, that customer said it was the first time she dared to look clients in the eye during negotiations, and they praised her “shining eyes.”

2. “Spring Bamboo Rhythm Bracelet": A “Natural SPA" for Stressed Brains

Reporter: The combination of smoky quartz and clear quartz is very refreshing. Did you consider specific workplace scenarios during the design?

Lila: Absolutely! Once, I saw a programmer colleague typing non-stop for two hours without looking up, with shoulders hunched almost to their ears. We thought: Can we create a bracelet that “breathes”?
  • Smoky quartz has a particularly calm energy, like a breeze in a bamboo forest, gradually blowing away anxiety; clear quartz is like morning dew, helping maintain focus without tension.
  • We intentionally left a finger’s width of space in the bracelet’s length. When rotating the beads, they make a soft “rustling” sound. An editor said this sound is like a “white noise massage” for the brain—stroking the bracelet when stuck on writing helps thoughts suddenly clarify.

3. “Spiritual Beads with Purple Shadows Bracelet": Inspiration Hides in “Imperfections"

Reporter: The irregular bead arrangement is very unique. What’s the creative idea behind this?

Lila: Haha, this design actually originated from a “mistake.” When cutting amethyst, one bead wasn’t perfectly round. I casually mixed it with moonstone, and it created a unique flowing feeling—isn’t this what inspiration looks like? Workplace professionals always pursue “perfection,” but creativity often hides in the cracks of “imperfection.”
  • Amethyst is the “stone of wisdom” for ancient Greek scholars, and now many designers and planners wear it to seek inspiration; moonstone calms the mind during overtime, preventing anxious procrastination.
  • A colleague said that while revising a plan in the office at 2 a.m. wearing this bracelet, moonlight shone through the window onto the bracelet, and she suddenly came up with a new campaign theme—“It turns out beauty and inspiration really do require a little courage to embrace ‘imperfection.'”

4. Beyond Design: We're “Falling in Love" with Workplace Emotions

Reporter: Finally, does your team have any “secret rituals” during the design process?

Lila: Before finalizing each new collection, we light sage incense in the studio and let the crystals “rest” in moonlight overnight. This isn’t mysticism; it’s an “energy calibration”—we want the bracelets to convey not just cold decoration, but companionship with natural warmth.

For example, the magnetic clasp of the “Resplendent Red Rose” was tested with 23 different opening/closing strengths to ensure smooth single-handed operation with a “secure click” feeling; the volcanic stone beads in “Spring Bamboo Rhythm” intentionally retain the rough texture of raw stones, feeling like touching tree bark to relax instantly.

Reporter: After hearing these stories, I suddenly feel each bracelet has a soul.

Lila: To us, they indeed have “life.” When customers say, “Wearing it makes me less anxious,” or when we see someone unconsciously stroking bracelet beads on the subway, we know: These crystals are gently healing workplace professionals in this “fast” era in their own way.
